It’s Tuesday morning and I woke up today to the jarring news that I, a wee baby in the world of blogging, had already managed to commit the unpardonable sin: copyright infringement. How did this happen, you might ask. Well … it happened like this.

Young baby blogger got great idea for weekly posts and began making weekly posts before considering that the material she was using was not her own. Oh, no! She also had the sneaking suspicion that her dutiful links back to the primary source were, unfortunately, not sufficient enough. So being an honest sort (but with sinking heart) she immediately stopped in her tracks and contacted the non-offending party to see if, perhaps, her suspicions were mistaken. Sadly, they were not and all previous material had to go.

For those of you who got a bit excited yesterday about the Animal Totem of the Week idea, it is my duty to tell you that this concept has had to go by the wayside. Perhaps this is not a bad thing, as the response to it was relatively low, and because (truthfully) despite my own affinity for it, the idea of animal totems on this page did seem a bit out of place. And that’s the last thing this baby blogger wants: lack of continuity.

In the meantime, I still have several ideas up my sleeve for future posts that focus in on some of our more spiritual desires. And you are more than welcome to read up on animal totems for yourself, if the idea has intrigued you. There are some great sites out there.

They say confession is good for the soul, so thank you for letting me unburden mine a bit today.
